I will be having two family get togethers. One at my Dad's House & then at my Mom's House.

I was 20 years old. A guy I knew had feelings for me came over to watch a movie. I was so ready to have that first kiss that eventhough I didn't have feelings for him I gave him all the signals for a "Go Ahead." & he did. It turned into a two hour make out session. There was also some exploring done. Well a lot of exploring. I was 20 it was about damn time!!!

My partners are of the opposite sex. But I have had several same sex kisses. I was 21 for the first one.

The man was planning & then attending his Grandmother's funeral. He was grieving.

Co-Workers, Ahhhhhhh!

I usually get along with everyone. I overlook peoples faults & deal. I do this because I know I can be difficult too. However there is this one guy I work with. I HATE working with him. He doesn't do any work. He is on the phone taking personal calls his whole shift. He doesn't help out at all. It is only him & I working. I have told by Supervisor but he just brushes it off. I am getting to where I think I am going to ask not to be scheduled with him anymore because I can not stand it. Plus his personality sucks. I don't even care for him as a friend or anything. He is rude, unprofessional, uncaring, etc. you get the point. OMG & the worst thing is what he talks about on his personal calls. Everyone can hear him. We work in a hospital what he says should not be tolerated. Let me say first that he is Gay but this is not what I have a problem with. I don't even care that he is gay. However when you have a loud voice that carries you DO NOT talk about how "big" the guy you were with last night is. Or how long he was able to last. In what world is that OK. Even if it was me talking about somebody I was with. It should not be tolerated. Not in a professional environment. I will be the first one to get into a conversation with details about my sex life but not at work or if it is at work we do it quietly. From what I hear that have been many complaints brought up against him but everyone thinks it will turn into a discrimination issue. Apparently he has threaten to claim discrimination against the hospital if he was fired. I do not know if this is true but this is the fear of some. I do not see the problem. They have list of complaints against him & he is not doing his job. These seem like grounds for termination.

I just came across the article on MSN.com. I thought it was so interesting. I had heard of instances where dolphins has saved humans but it all word of mouth so I wasn't too sure. But reading this article just made my doubts go away.

They Got A Baby!

My best friend & her husband have had trouble conceiving a baby. Well they decided to start the adoption process. The did everything they needed to do & were waiting for a little one to become available. Well they decided to become foster parents to hopefully adopt a baby that way. Well they recently got a newborn baby girl.

Story goes the Mama & Daddy are habitual crack users. The baby was born addicted. As of right now the baby is fine. She has slight tremor buT the doctors says that will go away as she gets older.

CPS people have told my best friend & her husband that the couple has 90 days to prove to the court that they can take care of their child. However from what the CPS workers are saying though they are not trying to get their baby back. So after 90 days if they have still not done anything their parental rights will be terminated.

If this happens my best friend & her husband will adopt the baby.

I do hope the mama & daddy come to their senses & try to get their baby back but if not then there would be no better Mama & Daddy than my best friend & her husband. I hope everything works out for the baby. All she needs is love & she had already gotten that from my best friend & her husband.

Across the Universe

I am so excited I finally am able to see this movie tonight. I absolutely love Evan Rachel Wood. She is a spectacular actress.

Me! Me! Me!

I just now realized that I am not using this blog how I intended to from the very beginning. Yes, I have had this blog for awhile & I am barely realizing this. Oh well. My original intentions for this blog were that his would be my place just for me. A place were I could express myself in a way that I don't in everyday life. Maybe I should explain this.

In everyday life I am 23 year old woman who works a regular 8-5 job. I am sweet, good natured, helpful, nice, caring, etc. You get the point. I don't get mad. Well at least not in front of people. I don't complain. I just smile & forge on. I don't act mean. I don't get frustrated with people. I just deal. I pick up the slack for people. I am the one people come to talk to when they are frustrated. I am the counselor, listener, relationship guru. etc. Once again you get the point.

It's not that I am being fake or anything like that. I genuinely like helping others & being there for people. I like that my friends can come to me. I like helping in any way I can.

But I get angry & frustrated and all that. There are a couple of people I can talk to when I get like this. Which is good.

Then there is a side to me that no one has seen. A part of my sexuality. My preferences & my fantasies. What turns me on. What I would like to do. Things such as this. Things that others would not understand coming from me.

Once again I am not being fake. There is not just anyone I completely trust to show all of myself to.

Basically this blog is anonymous. Sal is not my real name. None of my friends or family know about this blog. So this is a place for me to talk & not care about how anyone reacts.

Hehehehehe when I was 10 my Uncle let me watch "People Under the Stairs." First & only time I had to sleep with a light on. However since then nothing has ever scared me that bad. Also to this day I have never watched that movie again.

I guess I was 12 or so. We went trick or treating in this neighborhood. We were walking around & there was a yard with a scarecrow. We walked passed & the scarecrow got off its post & chased us. Scared the crap out of us but was so much fun.

Five things that remind me of my childhood!

1. Crayons-I guess would be universal. Everyone used these in grade school.

2. Beer-Not as bad as it sounds. My parents have been divorced since I was 6. My Dad was/is a drinker. He would always have beer cans in the recycle bin. Well whenever my sister & I went over for the weekend they would be falling out of the bin. So my Dad would spill them over this concrete slab he had in the yard & we would jump up & down on them & crush them. We always had fun doing this & my Dad would get a kick out of us doing this. By the time we were done you could smell beer everywhere.

3. Old women's perfume-Everyone knows this smell. From my Grandma.

4. Dirt-Just being outside playing. We were always outside getting dirty. We would play kickball everynight with the neighborhood kids. By the time we came in for the night we smelled like dirt. Or at least that is what my mama would say.

5. Grease-My mama would always be cooking something. And it was always full of grease.

Last night I went to the Astros vs. Cardinals game last night. It was a lot of fun. It has been about 3 or 4 years since I had been to a game. Eventhough we lost 7-0 we still had a good. I went with my roomie Josh & our friend Nazario.

The Nanny Diaries

I went to go see The Nanny Diaries last night. I really liked it. At first was a little skeptical but it was a heart-warming story. I won't give anything away, ;-)! I will say that Chris Evans is HOTT!



I will say though it made me think of having kids. I know I am young but everytime a friend talks about her childs crazy antics, or my nieces & nephews have me rolling with laughter, or I see a baby being cradled by its Mama it gets me to thinking. I had a pregnancy scare a month ago & honestly I was happy about it. When I found out I wasn't pregnant I was sad. I know right now is not an ideal time for me to start a family especailly since I do not even have a boyfriend. I look at my Mom and she had me when she was 18 & she was able to survive so I could too. Who knows sometimes my mind just gets to wandering. Hope everyone has a Great Day!

I have only dated one person at a time. I do not think it matters how many people you date at once. I do think that if both people agree to be exclusive then there should be no other dating.

Living Life

Lately I have been dwelling on the past. I have been thinking back on relationships & events that have happened in the past few months. It is really hard for me to let things go & just be.

Recently though I have decided to take on the motto "The past is the past." There is nothing humanely possible that can be done to change it.

Because of this I am no longer dwelling on things that have already happened. There is nothing I can do to change it so why bother & why over analyze every little thing.

With that in mind this morning I felt wonderful when I woke up. I wasn't dreading anything. I woke up looking forward to the upcoming week.

Oh man where to begin. Sad scenes, happy scenes, it doesn't matter really. If there is an extreme amount of emotion & it is acted out well I will cry!

Wet Wednesday

I went to check to see if there was a posting for this weeks Wet Wednesday & I realized I didn't do last weeks. So here it goes. Once they post this weeks I'll do that one too.

Self-Esteem - August 1, 2007

1. have you ever been so ashamed/embarrassed about your body or yourself that you could not be intimate with someone? why, and what did you do about it, if anything?

Fortunatley I have not been that ashamed/embarrassed of my body. Anytime I have been intimate with someone I have been pretty comfortable so I wasn't too worried about my body.

2. what is the part of your body you feel worst about, and why? what are you planning on doing about it, if anything?

The worst part of my body is the area between my stomach down to my thighs. I am overweight so this part is the worst on me. I am on a diet & I am excercising regularly.

I think it is my face. Do not get me wrong I am no where near any type of beauty but sometimes either when I do my make-up just right or when my face is clean & fresh straight fromt the shower I think I do look pretty. I have beautiful lips. They are big & full & have natural coloring to them. I also have beautiful eyelashes. Long & they curl on their own.

I can honestly say I have never been dumped & I have never dumped anyone. I have never had an actual relationship before or at least not one that a title was put on.

Do not have a current lover but the last guy I was intimate with I would probably change his kissing. For some reason he had no problem kissing me anywhere on my body but he did not like to kiss on the mouth. He would a little in the beginning(I mean the beginning of the night)but then he wouldn't bother with it throughout the night.

3. Mia's boyfriend's parents threatened to disown him if she moved in with him. if your parents/friends/whomever you're close to threatened to cut all ties with you if your S.O. moved in with you, what would YOU do?

Honestly I would call them on it. I feel that if somebody I am close to threatens to do something like that they are just trying to exert some sort of control over my life & no one controls my life but God & myself. Honestly I don't think they would go through with it.

However mine was with a guy who was my roommates cousin. I had only met him once before & hung out with him that same night. A month later I hung out with him again got drunk & had sex. Have you planned your funeral and/or written your will?

No I haven't done either. The closest thing is setting up life insurance through work & naming my sisters as benefactors. I even felt a little uneasy doing that. Whenever I think about death especially my own it depresses me. And not in the way it does everybody (or at least I think it is different) I have a very over active imagination so I picture my actual grave site and people moving on without me.

I always have an umbrella with me. I own like 4. They are kept in my car, apt, office & work bag.

I take it as it comes. I know at what times to avoid certain areas so I try & steer clear.

The youngest would have to be 20. I am 22. I would not go younger than that just because guys take a lot longer to mature than women. *Only if the guy was mature for his age would I go younger.

The oldest would have to be 32. I don't think I would feel comfortable with anyone 10 years older than me.

Aggravation

I do not understand my Dad. He can never just have a conversation with me. He has to talk down to me. Whenever something bad happens in my life no matter what it is somehow it is my own fault caused by my own stupidity. No man has ever hurt me as much as my Dad has. And to add to an already bad day I had a horrible night at work. Worked sucked so bad last night. Are you strict about wearing your sunscreen in the summer?

Lately I have been just because I never use to when I was younger and with all the worries of skin cancer it is just safer.

Do you frequently wear sandals in the summer? Any favorites you'd like to share?

Oh all the time. Especially flip flops. I love Reef sandals they are so comfy!

What are a few great books that you've taken along to the beach or on vacation in years past? If you aren't a big reader, what do you do to while away the lazy hours?

I never take books with me to the beach or on vacation. I can read at home. If I am on vacation or at the beach I am going to experience what there is around me.

How do you feel about swimsuit shopping? Love it, hate it, indifferent? What's your color of choice?

I hate! I am not comfortable with my body, which I am working on, but until I am comfy I will not enjoy swimsuit shopping. I like dark colors.

I always say that every week I am going to start being more organized, exercise, diet, eat right or something. I decided today is going to be that day. When I get excited and I try to talk I mix my words to together and will repeat the same phrase or sentence a couple of times. I have to actually pause & breathe then I can speak clearly but I really have to concentrate.***Don't know if that is actually a habit or quirk.

It would have to be the guitar. I actually have one and I am trying to teach myself but it is just not working. To me the guitar is just one of the most beautiful & soulful instruments.

When my hair is wet it goes down to the middle of my shoulder blades. When it is dry it goes to about the top of my shoulders. I have wavy/curly hair so it is different lengths when wet or dry.

You know I really do not know. When ever I get upset or mad at someone I usually just let things roll of my shoulders & I don't really expect an apology.***Yes I just read over that & realized I need to seriously stop doing that. Or at least demand an apology for any wrong-doing.

My Memorial Weekend

Well this weekend for me was nothing spectacular. I had to work. I did get to hang out with some friends though.

Let me go ahead and start with Thursday. We went to go see Pirates of the Caribbean 3! It was so good. I definitely recommend seeing it if you are a POTC Fan. Even if you aren't just go see it. I would love to go on about the movie but I will not ruin anything for anyone. A big group of us went. Myself, Josh*, Eric*, Jess*, Kiki*, Candice* & Megs*. I was really sad that Diego* could not go though. And I must say the little green monster came out. (First off I have to say I am a jealous person by nature-let me add like 2 "very" to that) Jess sat by Eric and I sat on the other side of Jess. Well during the movie they kept having little conversations between themselves and it was getting really annoying because when I asked Jess what they were talking about she said don't worry about it. Which really just aggravated me more. Well I guess now after reading what I just wrote I don't know if it was jealousy or just aggravation because Jess was making it seem like some big secret. Even now I don't know. Well we hung out a little afterwards & it was fun. Nothing big happened with Eric & I sad to say, :-(.

Friday nothing happened. Went to work & then went home, :-)!

Saturday was really a lot of fun. After we all got off of work we went to my apt and just basically chilled. It started out just Josh, Eric, Jess & I. Later on Diego, Megs & Kiki came over. Sad to say with them they brought drama. Well not all of them. Megs is going through something with one of her other friends & she was sad & depressed and sort of bringing everyone else down.

I hate that. I don't know if that makes me sound like a bitch or some unfeeling jerk. But it just gets on my nerves when people are depressed & sad go to a place where they know people will be hanging out and having fun and get everyone down. I mean I understand when you are feeling like that depending on the person they need to talk it out and stuff because I am like that. But I will not go to a party or to go hang out like that because I know I will bring everyone down and somehow cause some sort of drama. Why would you want to do that?

Well suffice to say Diego, Kiki & Megs left a little while later & Josh, Eric, Jess & I went to Denny's and then went back home to watch Pan's Labyrinth. We all fell asleep halfway through & woke up in the morning to watch the rest of it. That movie was really freaky but very good. Guillermo Del Torro is AWESOME!!!

Sunday well after watching the movie. Went to work & then spent the night at my mom's house and watched movies with my sisters. We watched The Last Kiss & How to Eat Fried Worms. The Last Kiss was OK. I am still unsure how I feel about it. How to Eat Fried Worms was so cute & funny. I recommend it for anyone who has a son, brother, nephew or grandson between the ages of 7-12. They will love it.

That was my weekend. I enjoyed it. Had some laughs & made some memories. Always Great things!

The very best thing was I spent almost everyday with Eric. I know I am hopeless oh well.

What's your favorite food item that is in your refrigerator right now?

My favorite item that is in my kitchen right now would have to be a Parrot Bay malt beverage. I think it is orange & pineapple flavored ;-)!
We hardly ever have actual food other than snacks in are fridge. My roomies & I are always so busy we usually eat out. So normally just alcoholic drinks are kept cold.

Do you enjoying barbecuing on the grill? What's something that you make often?

I love barbecuing!!! My favorite thing to make is fajitas. We get them already seasoned from this meat market. They are the best!

What one item (kitchen gadget, appliance, food item) in your kitchen best describes your personality? Why?

This is a very interesting question. I would have to say a can opener. I love to get to know people on a very deep an intimate level. I love to know what is on the "inside."

Well were to begin. Well I guess I should describe him. He is about 5’10. Broad shoulders. He is on the husky side. Short cropped black hair. Has a beard that he keeps trimmed. Beautiful brown eyes. Big strong arms. Really nice chest, ;-)!

He is a couple of years younger than me. He is real mature for his age. He has an awesome personality. He is one of those guys that gets along with everyone. He is a sports fanatic. He loves baseball, football & basketball. He has a great sense of humor. Which to me is a great thing. I love to laugh. He is also one of those big brother types. Which is were my problem comes into affect.

He only sees me as a “sister” or so he says. Because sometimes I get vibes or looks that suggest otherwise. He confuses me sometimes. Although I guess I could just be reading too much into things. I have no solid evidence to go on that he feels differently than he says. Nothing physical has ever happened between us. So until something happens I am just taking it one day at a time.
